With generous contributions from our sponsors we were able to treat 115 of the Danville kids to a day at the zoo. Upon their arrival each child received fruit juice and chips to tide them over till lunch. Then they were divided into age groups and accompanied by volunteers set out to view the animals. Lunch was courtesy of KFC and Spar Randjespark, then there was just enough time for another walk before the bus took 115 tired but happy children back to Danville

Met behulp van ons borge was ons in staat om 115 van die Danville kinders vir 'n dag by die Pretoriase Dieretuin te onthaal. Met hulle aankoms ontvang hulle elk vrugtesap en skyfies vir nodige krag tot etenstyd. Toe word hulle in ouderdomsgroepe ingedeel en onder toesig van vrywilligers is hulle vort om die dieretuin te gaan verken. Middagete was voorsien deur KFC en Randjespark Spar, en toe, na nog 'n kort besigtigingstoer is almal doodmoeg maar gelukkig op die bus terug Danville toe.
